The following is a summary of our April 15 meeting at Transfiguration.

1. We welcomed 19 new Sir Knights thsi month. Most were at the meeting.

2. This was the highest attendance meeting ever! Thanks to those who took time to come.

3. The May meeting will be at St Francis in Cartersville.

4. The June meeting will be at St Michaels the Archangel in Woodstock. Our contact for the steaks has left that company. How do you feel paying the usual $5.00 versus free as we have done in the past? Please let us know at the May meeting. 

5. We will be submitting the Civic Award application to Supreme for the Holly Springs Christmas Parade. If you have picture please submit to FS Richard Pettys.

6. We will submit the Veterans Cemetery Memorial Day Mass for the Patriot Award application to Supreme.

7. The First Annual FN Ball last month was attended by about 50 people. The Former Master and Past FNs were recognized. It just so happened this year to be moved to Divine mercy weekend. We will schedule it that way in the future. (One week after Easter). Thanks to Gary Johnson, Ron Crysler, Tom Schuler, and Mike Reynolds and the many others who made this possible.

8. Should our funds permit we should consider donating to the Veterans Hospital PTSD group and or the Monastery, or some other group. We can discuss at a future meeting.

9. The Memorial Day Mass will be at 10 am with ArchBishop Gregory at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton off Ga Hwy 20 toward Cartersville. We need to set up before the Mass and clean up the assembly area before noon. Reception following the Mass at the administration building. Possible military fly over at 11am subject to several conditions.

10. We met out membership quota this year and now are 270 strong. Next exemplification is October 17. Get the form 4s in early.   

11. If you have not paid your 2008 dues of $30.00 please do so soon. If there is any financial issues we can quiety waive the dues so just let us know.

12. If there is anything we can do better just let us know.
13. We have a new website: http://www.divinemercy2771.org.  Many thanks to our Faithful Scribe Richards Pettys for obtaining it and getting it up and running. We will add more content to it over the next month. It should serve us well with getting the news of events out.  Please check it out.
14.  The Trustees announced the slate of officers for 2008-2009.
